Menu Planning Monday

Here is our menu for the week. This is my first time linking so I will get better. Click on the day to see recipe. Next time I will link it to the menu item. Some days don't have a link as they are just your kitchen basics. Monday's dinner is one of my family's favorites and from a chef we love-Jamie Oliver. So easy and yummy but, I leave out the egg and just add cream.

Monday-Farfalle with carbonara and spring peas
Tuesday-Salsa Verde Pork over rice

Wednesday: Soup beans, corn bread, squash casserole (note: This is a a meatless menu and one my grandmother often served. Soup beans are a bag of pinto beans soaked over night. Then follow the recipe on the bag. Feel free to add a ham bone. She served this with finely chopped onions and relish (not hot dog but, the good stuff). Corn bread is always on the side.)

Thursday: 50's Chicken and Noodles Casserole , fresh green beans
Recipe: 1 Rot. chicken (chopped), 1 can cream of celery or mushroom, 1 can cream of chicken, salt and pepper, egg noodles, and potato chips
Cook noodles, drain. Mix chicken an soups together. Salt and pepper. Put on top of cooked noodles in a greased baking dish. Top with potato chips and bake at 350 for 50min.

Friday: Open Face Steak and Fries

Saturday: pizza dough from Whole Foods to make individual pizzas, salad

Sunday: Daddy's night to cook-making fish and chips -Yummy!
